Bacco Online Professionals’ Forum launched aiming to increase networking among workforces through sharing knowledge for develop skills in business process outsourcing (BPO) sector.
Business process outsourcing (BPO) is a method of subcontracting various business-related operations to third-party vendors. Bangladesh Association of Call Center and Outsourcing (Bacco) takes care of the professional forum as trade body in BPO sector.
State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak announced the launching of the forum through unveiling the logo of the organization at a meeting held virtually on Wednesday night.
State Minister Palak said the government is implementing different programmes for development of technology sector where youth are leading the way.
Mentioning Bangladesh as second largest pool of online workers in the world, Palak expected that the demand of online professionals will be increased to multiple times to support the growth in technology sector in the country.
Bacco President Wahid Sharif said the Forum will connect the youths and will provide a platform to lead the country’s outsourcing sector to next level.
Among others, ICT Division Senior Secreatry Zeaul Alam, Bacco General Secretary Towhid Hossain, outsourcing professionals Abdullah Zayed, Imrajina Islam, Ahsan Habib and Faysal Mustafa connected to the session.
