Business icon and former FBCCI former chief Abdul Matlub Ahmad has taken corona virus vaccine along with his spouse.
Nitol Niloy Group Chairman Matlub participated in the immunization campaign at BRB Hospital in the capital on Tuesday.
Her spouse, Selima Ahmad, also a member of parliament, took vaccine today (Wednesday).
The business couple urged all to take part the national immunization initiative to tackle Corona virus disease.
“I have taken the vaccine at Gastro lever Hospital after registering with the Surokkha software of government. There are very good facilities for the vaccination,” Abdul Matlub Ahmad, also president at India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) told News Now Bangla.
He also mentioned that there is no side effect of the shots in last14 hours went away after vaccination.
“Those who are above 40 years old, all have to receive vaccine,” he added.
Matlub also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for initiating national immunization drive.
“Bangladesh is ahead of many developed country in vaccination as Health Minister and Health Secretary are leading the campaign in planned manner,”.
