HSC exams of three boards rescheduled for August 27

Notification issued on Friday; Exams under other boards to proceed as scheduled.

 

The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination and equivalent exams under three boards will begin on August 27, instead of August 17.

The examinations under the Chittagong Education Board, Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board have been rescheduled.

A notification signed by Dhaka Education Board chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar on Friday. August 11  said the examinations of other boards will be held as per the schedule.

Regarding this year’s Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said the examination would be suspended only at the places affected by natural calamities.

The education minister said the Information and Communication Technology test will be held on 75 marks. Coaching centres across the country will remain closed from August 14 to September 25. The exams will end on September 25. HSC examinations will be held on full marks in all subjects except ICT in the revised syllabus.
