Sultanate of Oman would also restrict travel from other South Asian countries, such as, India and Pakistan from April 24, 2021, as part of efforts to contain the corona pandemic, reports Times of Oman.

The three nations were added to the list of countries barred from travelling to the Sultanate, and the notice is scheduled to be in place until further notice.

The decision was announced by the Supreme Committee to stop the spread of Covid-19 in the Sultanate of Oman.

Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers, and their families have been kept out of the flight restrictions. Groups excluded from the travel ban however would need to follow the necessary Covid-19 procedures on arrival into the country.
