News Now Bangla steps into third year

Internet newspaper ‘News Now Bangla’ has stepped into third year of news gathering operation on Sunday practicing objective journalism.

Since going live, the news platform has been maintaining accuracy and diversification of contents in two bilingual editions in Bangla and English.

Under leadership of seasoned news practitioner Shamima Dola, News Now Bangla team consists of experienced and young professionals to produce unique contents targeting demographic dividend.

With the slogan of ‘We are News’ the bilingual platforms has been producing multimedia contents since commencing journey on July 25, 2019.

Former FBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad, former Information Secretary Hedayet Ullah Al Mamun and BFUJ vice president Syed Ishtiaque Reza  were guests at the launching ceremony at National Press Club on that day in 2019.

In association with Nitol Ayat, News Now Bangla recognized six prominent personalities for the outstanding contributions in respective fields. Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud was chief guest while FBCCI former chief Abdul Matlub Ahmad continued his appreciation to the emerging news platform on the occasion.

Representing News Now Bangla, Editor Shamima Dola covered the sixty fourth general assembly at United Nations in 2019 while Indian government offered a ITEC scholarship to her in February of 2020.

Editor Shamima Dola said the News Now team has been showcasing courageous reporting amid pandemic situations and won global recognition in different field of development journalism.
