Eid-e-Miladunnabi on October 20

The government has rescheduled the official holiday of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi on October 20 instead of October 19.

The Ministry of Public Administration rescheduled the holiday and issued a notification on Sunday.

According to the notification, the government holiday has been rescheduled on the occasion of the Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) as per the decision of the National Moon Sighting Committee with the powers given by the Allocation of Business Among the Differences Ministry and Divisions.

Offices whose schedules and holidays are governed by their own laws or whose offices, agencies and institutions have been declared as essential jobs by the government – in that case, it has been mentioned that the concerned offices, agencies and institutions will reschedule the holiday as per their own laws and regulations considering the public interest.
