The Indian government has promised no more killings at the border : Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said there had been several meetings on the border killings. The Indian government has promised no more killings at the border. The Government of India will keep its promise in this regard.

Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader made the remarks at a briefing at his residence on Monday (September 13th) morning.

He said those who tried to gain political advantage by keeping the border issue alive, those who visited India and forgot to talk about water issues, those who waited at the closed doors of Indian embassies with flowers and sweets after the change of government in India, – What could be more knee-deep than that?

On the occasion of the 67th happy birthday of Bangabandhu’s youngest daughter Sheikh Rehna, on behalf of the leaders and workers of Awami League and allied organizations, General Secretary of the party Obaidul Quader extended his heartfelt congratulations, best wishes and respect.

Obaidul Quader said, Deshratna Sheikh Hasina is a successful statesman today with the sacrifice, motivation and endless support of Sheikh Rehna.
