Taapsee Pannu is starring in Indian women’s cricket team captain Mitali Raj’s biopic ‘Shabash Mithu’. Taapsee is now on the field under the leadership of director Srijit Mukherjee to prepare the film. He is often seen sweating with the bat to make himself fit for the character.
Rahul Dholakia started directing the film ‘Shabash Mithu’. But Rahul has moved away from this project. The film is now directed by Srijit Mukherjee, a well-known Tollywood director.
Regarding the new beginning under the leadership of the new director, Taapsee said, ‘Srijit told me to learn a lot of new things. Rahul has not said anything about this before. I have washed away all previous memories. Looks like I started taking basic training in this game. Now I am learning all the details about this game. Srijit wants me to adopt some mannerisms. ‘
About her acting character, she said, “I was always on the move. I will show the game on the screen, or I will focus more on her (Mitali Raj’s) mannerisms or body language on the field.” But she (Mitali Raj) wants to get a message through this picture. ‘
The Bollywood star added, ‘Cricket bats are not just men’s property, I will show it. Men don’t care if girls have bats in their hands, otherwise they look down on girls. I can’t even imagine how much Mitali had to deal with during her visit. As a woman cricketer, she must have struggled to reach this height.
Taspsee has been seen on the last screen in the movie ‘Hasin Dilruba’. In addition to ‘Shabash Mithu’, she will be seen in ‘Rashmi Rocket’, ‘Loop Lapeta’, ‘Blair’ and ‘Dobara’.
