Covid claims 35 more lives in 24 hrs

In the last 24 hours, 35 more people have died from the corona virus. The death toll rose to 27,182. At the same time, 1,190 people were newly identified.

This information was given in a circular signed by Professor Nasima Sultana Additional Director General of the Department of Health (Administration) on Saturday (September 18) .

It said that in the last 24 hours, the detection rate was 6.05 percent as compared to 19,668 sample tests. The total number of identities in the country is 15 lakh 41 thousand 300 people.

Of the people who died in the last 24 hours, 19 were female and 16 male. Among the Covid-19 patients who died in that time, 19 were in Dhaka division, six in Chattogram, three in Khulna and Rajshahi division, two in Sylhet division, one in Rangpur and Barishal division.

Bangladesh detected its first coronavirus patient on 8 March last year and recorded its first death of the disease on 18 March that year.
