Evaly’s property cannot be sold or transferred

The High Court has banned the sale or transfer of any property of e-commerce company Evaly. The High Court bench of Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar passed the order on Wednesday (September 22nd).

Evaly’s customer Farhad Hossain made the application. Lawyers AM Mashum and Syed Mahsib Hossain were present in the hearing on behalf of the court.

Barrister Mohammad Humayun Kabir Pallab and Mohammad Kawshar, two lawyers of the Supreme Court, have filed a writ petition in the High Court seeking directions for judicial inquiry into the fraud, embezzlement and money laundering of e-commerce companies.

The writ petition sought directions to refund the damaged customers.Later, lawyer Syed Mahsib Hossain told that, customers were not getting it by ordering products from Evaly. Besides, they did not get any money. In this situation, the customer applied for the termination of Evaly Company. The court accepted the application.

A notice has been issued as to why the company will not be liquidated. At the same time, the sale and transfer of all movable and immovable property in Evaly has been banned.
