BNP must come to the polls: Obaidul Quader

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the BNP is trying to find democracy outside its own party.

He made the remarks at a briefing at his residence on Sunday morning.

He said the BNP was creating obstacles in the way of democracy. They are looking for a way to come to power in an undemocratic way without following the path of democracy. The BNP is staying away from the elections by showing disrespect to the people and saying that democracy is missing.

The general secretary of the Awami League said, “People do not think that their recklessness and the anti-politics of cutting off their noses and breaking the others journey have not yielded any result in the past and will not come in the future.”

Obaidul Quader thinks that the BNP, which has violated democratic values and customs, is dictatorial even when it is in power, even from the opposition camp.

The BNP knows that there is no alternative to change of power except elections, so no matter what they say, the general secretary of the Awami League thinks that they will come to the polls.

He said the BNP must come to the polls if it wants to save the party’s declining existence and save its supporters and workers from wrath.

Mentioning that BNP is also participating in the UP elections by hiding its identity, Obaidul Quader said that it is their colorful politics.

The Awami League general secretary also said that the BNP leaders do not do what they say in public and do not say what they do in secret.

The Awami League general secretary said that if there is any allegation of getting the nomination of a controversial person due to mistakes and concealment of information in the UP election, it is being investigated.
