Dr. Enamul Haque is lying in eternal sleep at Banani

Ekushey medal-winning actor, playwrighter and teacher Dr. Enamul Haque’s funeral has been completed. Today (October 12) at 2:20 pm in Banani, his burial was completed, said the late son-in-law actor Saju Khadem.

Earlier, the body of the veteran actor was taken to Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Central Shaheed Minar and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) to bid farewell.

The event was held at Shilpakala yesterday (October 11) evening. The next two events were held on Tuesday morning and noon.

When his body was brought to the central Shaheed Minar in the capital at 11:15 am, people from different walks of life and different classes and professions paid homage to him with flowers.

Sammilita Sangskritik Jote organized this tribute. Enamul Haque’s two sons-in-law actors Litu Anam and Saju Khadem and two daughters Hridi Haque and Preeti Haque were present there.

Dr. Enamul Haque fell ill at his home on Bailey Road on Monday afternoon. He was rushed to Islami Bank Central Hospital in Kakrail around 3pm and was pronounced dead. It is known that he died of a heart attack.
