Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that we are the ideal country in the world to deal with risks. We will try to maintain this dignity. We don’t have to hear that not as many people were supposed to die. We think this country is ours. No matter what the risk, development work must continue.
The Prime Minister said this while addressing a function at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Wednesday (October 13) at 10:30 am. “Our geographical location is such that we have to deal with natural disasters,” she said. Therefore, besides the various agencies of the government, the general public should also be aware to avoid the risk of disaster.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said rules have to be followed while setting up buildings. In case of fire, in case of earthquake, rescue and other works can be done. Our government has taken all measures to deal with the disaster, no other government has paid attention to them. As far as the initiatives we have taken, these have been taught by the father of the nation.
