Full-length implementation of PM’s 10 initiatives stressed

Full-length implementation of the Prime Minister’s (PM’s) ten innovative initiatives has become an urgent need for substantial and sustainable livelihood of the countrymen.

All the government and non-government organizations concerned and other stakeholders should come forward and work together for successful implementation of the special initiatives as these are being judged as lighthouses of taking the nation along with its future generations forward effectively.

Experts and administrative officials came up with the observations while addressing a daylong divisional training workshop titled “PM’s Ten Innovative Initiatives” here Thursday, Report BSS

Divisional Commissioner’s Office hosted the inclusive workshop at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) supported by Governance Innovative Unit (GIU) discussing and devising ways and means on how to
implement the initiatives collectively.

Senior Secretary to the Ministry of Water Resources Kabir Bin Anwar addressed the closing session as the chief guest, while Commissioner of Rajshahi Division GSM Zafarullah was in the chair.

GIU Director General Dr Abdul Latif addressed the workshop as focal person, while Additional Commissioner ANM Moinul Islam gave an overview of the ten initiatives along with so far achievements of those separately during his keynote presentation.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Abdul Baten, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Abu Kalam Siddiqui and DC Abdul Jalil also spoke.

In ten separate group discussions, around 100 participants identified the local level implementation challenges besides new potentialities together with putting forward a set of recommendations to implement the initiatives
with involvement of publicity mechanisms through facing the challenges.

Secretary Kabir Bin Anwar called for implementing the initiatives taking these in own conscience and spirit and termed the initiatives as key-factors of elevating the country to the line of developed nations by 2041.

“If we attain hundred percent of implementation of the ten initiatives, all the 17 sustainable development goals will be achieved within the stipulated 2030,” he said, adding that there is correlation between the 10 initiatives
and SDGs.

He also said the ten initiatives have already started uplifting the country as these engaged all strata of life in terms of inclusive development of the country.
