Rihanna makes music comeback after six years

On Friday, Rihanna released her first in six years, which is an emotional ballad tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman.

The soundtrack for the upcoming Marvel movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” includes “Lift Me Up,” the Barbados-born singer’s first brand-new song since her 2016 album “Anti.”

The movie is a follow-up to “Black Panther,” which broke box office records in 2018 and starred Boseman as King T’Challa.

This 34-year-old Grammy Award winner, who will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in February, had teased the new track, in which she sings: “Lift me up / Hold me down / Keep me close / Safe and sound.”
