New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 52 runs in 3rd T20I

Visiting New Zealand finally beat Bangladesh by 52-run in the 3rd T20I to stay in the series at Mirpur today.

Despite the defeat, Bangladesh are leading 2-1 in the five-match series. Bangladesh won the first and second games by seven wickets and 4 runs respectively.

The Blackcaps scored 128 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs in the third match.

Henry Nicholls (not out) hit 36 runs off 29 balls with three boundaries while Tom Blundell scored 30 runs from 30 balls with three fours.

Rachin Ravindra and Will Young scored 20 runs off 20 balls each. Ravindra hit two boundaries while Young smashed three boundaries.

Finn Allen posted 15 runs from 10 balls with three boundaries and skipper Tom Latham bagged 5 runs. Colin de Grandhomme hit a duck.

In chase, Bangladesh were bowled out for 76 runs.

Mushfiqur Rahim (not out) hit innings highest 20 runs from 37 balls.

Opener Liton Das scored 15 runs from 11 balls while his partner Mohammad Naim bagged 13 runs from 19 balls. Skipper Mahmudullah Riyad scored 3 runs while pacer Mustafizur Rahman bagged 4 runs from 10 balls.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and spinner Nasum Ahmed hit duck each while Mahedi Hasan scored one run. Afif Hossain also returned to the pavilion after hitting a golden duck.

Wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan and pacer all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin posted eight runs each.

For New Zealand, Ajaz Patel smashed four wickets for 16 runs. Cole McConchie bagged three wickets for 15 runs.
