From today, Bangladesh Biman will operate Dhaka-Kuwait route

After being closed for almost a year and a half, the state-owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate flights on the Dhaka-Kuwait route from today.

Bangladesh Biman carrying red and green flag is scheduled to leave Dhaka for Kuwait at 7.45 pm on Sunday.

The airline will operate two direct flights a week on this route.

Due to Corona, the flight to Kuwait was closed for a year and a half.

Although Kuwait Airways and Al Jazeera have been operating direct flights on the Dhaka-Kuwait route since August this year, ticket prices were two to three times higher than usual.

At present, 10,000 passengers from different countries are allowed to enter Kuwait Airport every day.

The government is considering increasing the number soon.

Meanwhile, due to the high price of tickets, it is not possible for low-income expatriates to travel.

However, Kuwait’s expatriates expect that the ticket price will return to normal if the flight starts operating from today.
