Edible oil prices reducing in global market says Commerce Minister

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said that the price of edible oil is reducing in the world market and therefore, it will be adjusted in the domestic market as well.

He said this while talking to reporters at his residence in Rangpur on Saturday morning.

He said, “The price of edible oil is decreasing in the world market. As a result, it will be adjusted in the country’s market.” He also added the price of edible oil may decrease by one step in the next month (October). The Commerce Minister said, “The process has already started.”

Claiming that the bilateral business talks during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India have been very fruitful, Tipu Munshi further said, “Trade between the two countries will increase in the near future. The facilities in this regard will also increase.”
