BNP to open ‘hawa Bhaban’ ‘Khowab Bhaban’ if get scope: Information Minister

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today said BNP will open ‘Hawa Bhaban’ ‘Khowab Bhaban’ and blast bombs at 1000 places if they will get the opportunity, but the countrymen would not give them the chance.

“Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has claimed that the countdown for the departure of the government has begun. They (BNP) have been ringing the bell of our departure sitting at Naya Paltan office in the last twelve and a half years. But, our (Awami League) votes have increased. In fact, the ring of departure of them (BNP) has begun, not us,” he said.

The minister was addressing the triennial conference of Awami League Pabna district unit on the Police Line Ground as special guest here.

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader addressed the conference as the chief guest with AL Pabna district unit acting president Md Rezaul Rahim Lal in the chair.

AL Presidium Member Abdur Rahman, Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Litan, AL organising secretary SM Kamal Hossain, health secretary Rokeya Sultana and state minister for Information and Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, among others, addressed the discussion.

Dr.Hasan said the allocations for distressed and rice of OMS will be stopped if BNP will win the next elections. BNP cadres will grab the houses for poor people, he added.

The minister said BNP grabbed about 6,000 community clinics after Begum Khaleda Zia took power. Tarique Zia will take extortion and Shyokh Abdur Rahman and Bangla Bhai will be created if the party (BNP) get the opportunity, said Hasan, also AL joint general secretary.

He said BNP-Jamaat has no politics. “Even, the party leaders (BNP) didn’t stand beside the countrymen during the COVID-19 situation. BNP’s politics center only for knee pain or the temperature of Begum Zia,” he added.

On the other hand, he said the AL leaders were beside the countrymen during the COVID-19 pandemic and many AL leaders including Muhammad Nasim and Israfil Alam died.

Dr. Hasan said the fate of every person has been changed.

He urged the AL leaders and activists to focus on the unprecedented development of the government, led by the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

In the second session of the conference Zila Parishad chairman Rezaul Rahim Lal and Golam Faruque Prince, MP, were elected as the president and general secretary respectively of the district unit.
