Propaganda against judicial process would not be tolerated: Law Minister

Law Minister Anisul Huq on Friday said propaganda against the judicial process in Bangladesh would not be tolerated.

While addressing a function to distribute keys to the homes of Ashrayan project at Kuti union under Kasba upazilla in Brahmanbaria district, he said, “None is above the law in Bangladesh. Law will run at its own pace. All has to respect the court’s order. Propaganda against the judicial process in Bangladesh would not be tolerated.”

The law minister handed over keys to the newly built houses among 52 homeless families at the function.

The law minister urged all to re-elect Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and said, “People are witnessing enormous development works in the country. To keep the development going, we need Sheikh Hasina as prime minister once again.”

Among others, presided over by Kasba upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Sanjib Sarkjer, the function was addressed by Kasba Upazilla Parishad chairman Rashedul Kawser Bhuiyan Jibon, Kasba Pourasabha Mayor Golam Hakkani and upazilla vice-chairman Monir Hossain.
