U-19 Asia Cup: Bangladesh beat UAE by 61 runs

Bangladesh’s under-19 cricket team started their Asia Cup journey with a victory as they smashed the UAE by 61 runs in their opening game.

On batting first, Bangladesh were bowled out for 228 runs, with the opening pair adding 74 runs. Ashiqur Rahman hit the highest 71 runs for the team while Zisan Alam scored 42 runs.

In reply to 228, the UAE were completely rattled by two Bangladeshi spinner Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi and Parvez Rahman Jibon.

Both of them bagged four wickets each as the UAE bowled out for 167 runs, and Bangladesh left the ground with a 61-run win.
