Bangladesh ready for vaccine production: Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said, ‘There is no shortage of corona vaccine in Bangladesh. At the same time Bangladesh is also ready to go for vaccine production. We are at the forefront of vaccination activities in the world. We are not taking any money for vaccination. Only a handful of countries are vaccinating for free. ‘

He was speaking as the chief guest at the award ceremony at the Sylhet District Press Club auditorium at noon on Saturday (October 23).

The foreign minister said the election was two years later. With this election looming, a group is waging a communal attack to destabilize the country. However, the government is in a tough position in this regard.

The Minister further said that India has termed the steps taken by the Bangladesh government on the issue of communal attacks as very good. Although they protested against the incident in Bangladesh in many parts of India, many of them have spread fabricated propaganda. However, the Indian government has praised the steps taken by the Prime Minister.

Dr. AK Abdul Momen said, diplomatic success in Corona period is not mine alone. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given all directions. Thanks to her foresight, the contribution of all concerned, including the Minister of Health and the Covid-19 Management Committee, we have succeeded in the diplomacy of the Corona period. Compared to many powerful countries in the world, the number of deaths in our country is very low. We are at the forefront of vaccine activity in the world. We are not taking any money for vaccines.
