HSC result published

1,78,522 students get GPA-5 in nine general education boards

The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of 2021 have been published.

The average pass rate in the examinations is 95.26 percent.

A total of 1,78,522 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5) in nine general education boards in the HSC examinations, which was 1,53,614 last year.

The results of HSC, Alim, HSC  vocational, Business Management and Diploma-in-Commerce exams were announced from the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka’s Segunbagich. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the result announcement ceremony virtually from Ganobhaban.

According to the result published here today, among the examinees, 10,66,242 students have been successful in the HSC examinations. A total of 11,15,705 students appeared in this year’s HSC examinations.

Of the total successful students, the percentage of GPA-5 holders in nine education boards is 16.00, it added.

A total of 1,78,522 students achieved GPA-5 under nine general education boards, 4,872 students under the madrasah education board and 5,775 under the technical education board.
