UK received the first Bangladesh made ocean-going vessel

The United Kingdom is the first country to get an ocean-going, high-speed, multifunctional container ship that’s been exported from Bangladesh.

Throughout a ceremony at the InterContinental in Dhaka on Tuesday, the ship was officially handed from Ananda Shipyard and Slipways Ltd over to its buyer from the United Kingdom, Enzian Shipping Company Ltd.

The vessel possesses a length of 364 feet, a width of 54 feet, and a depth of 27 feet. Its engine has 4,130 horsepower and can strike speeds of up to 12.5 nautical miles per hour.
