Humayun Kabir new information secretary

Election Commission Secretary Md Humayun Kabir Khandaker has been made the secretary of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

Besides, the government has also transferred chief executive officer (secretary) of Public Private Partnership Authority Muhammad Ibrahim to the local government and engineering division (LGRD) as secretary.

A gazette notification was issued on October 27 mentioning that industries secretary Zakia Sultana was made Information and Broadcasting Ministry secretary.

Another notification was issued on October 31 mentioned that Technical and Madrasa Education Board Secretary Md Kamal Hossian was promoted to the rank of senior secretary and transferred to LGRD.

The government has cancelled partly of the two separate gazette notifications issued on October 27 and 31 relating to them. But the gazette notification said that Kamal Hossain was promoted to the rank of senior secretary at the same entity.

Meanwhile, the government has given promotion of director general of Islamic Foundation (Additional Secretary) Md Mushfiqur Rahman to the rank of secretary and posted him at Public Private Partnership Authority as the chief executive officer (secretary).

The order will come into effective immediately.
