After 81 days, Khaleda Zia returned to Firoza

Earlier, at 7:20 pm, she left the hospital for home. In preparation for taking Khaleda Zia to her residence, corona tests have already been conducted on all those working at the residence. The whole residence has been cleaned. It is learned that she is being considered for treatment at home. Therefore, all the initial arrangements for treatment have been kept in her house.

It was further informed at the press conference that Khaleda Zia’s condition is now stable. Life is not in crisis. Yet the fear of re-bleeding remains. Begum Khaleda Zia will continue her medical services at home under the supervision of the Medical Board instead of a hospital as the situation in the country is not good. The reason for this is that if the corona is infected, the situation will get out of control.

Doctors said she was released from the hospital but could not be treated for liver cirrhosis. They also said that although TIPS is needed, it is not possible in the country.

The press conference was attended by the head of the Medical Board of Evercare Hospital for Begum Khaleda Zia. Shahabuddin Talukder, the head of the private medical board formed to treat Khaleda Zia. FM Siddiqui, Professor. Sheikh Md. Abu Jafar, Dr. Md. Zafar Iqbal, Dr. Md. Sadiqul Islam, Professor. AQM Mohsin, Professor. Arefin, Professor. AZM Zahid Hossain and others.
