Covid-19: Bangladesh reports 43 deaths

In the last 24 hours, 43 more people have died due to coronavirus in the country. So far, a total of 27,225 people have died from the virus.

This information was given in a press release sent from the health department on Sunday afternoon. 35 people died yesterday.

The number of detected novel coronavirus cases in Bangladesh, according to the government, on Sunday rose to 1,542,683 as 1,383 more cases were reported, after testing 24,623 samples, including rapid antigen tests, in the last 24 hours.

The rate of detection in the last 24 hours until 8:00 am was 5.62 per cent. The health directorate today said a total of 2,887 people recovered from the highly infectious disease in the last 24 hours, taking the number of the total recovery to 1,501,541.Of the people who died in the last 24 hours, 22 were male and 21 male.

Among the Covid-19 patients who died in that time, 19 were in Dhaka division, eight in Chattogram, six in Khulna, four in Rajshahi, two in Sylhet, three in Rangpur and one in Mymensingh division.

On July 8, for the first time in the country, the death toll in Corona exceeded 200. Of these, 264 died on 5 and 10 August, the highest number of deaths in a single day in an epidemic. More than 200 people died in a few days. Then on August 13, the death toll began to fall below 200. After a long stay of more than a hundred, the death toll on August 26 dropped below 100.
