Chasing the target, Kolkata lost wickets in the middle-overs but Sunil Narine who came to bat at Number 5 changed the momentum of the game in just one over where he hit 3 sixes to Daniel Christian. With this loss, an era has come to an end for RCB under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. The 32-year-old will no longer be the captain of the franchise from next season. However, Virat made it clear that he wants to stay with RCB till he plays his final IPL game.

Kolkata Knight Riders made their way in Qualifier 2 and will face Delhi Capitals on Wednesday. The winner of Qualifier 2 will play against Chennai Super Kings in the finals. The way KKR made their comeback since the season resumed in the UAE was amazing. Even in this game vs RCB they fought till the final over in a low chase and got over the mark in the final game.
