BNP in arson game: Hasan Mahmud
Information Minister Hasan Mahmud claimed leaders and activist of BNP is playing a game of burning buses and people when people worried on corona pandemic.
Exchanging view with media on Sunday, Awami League joint general secretary Hasan also mentioned that the country has shown excellence in tackling pandemic under courageous role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The world is struggling with the pandemic. Bangladesh is no exception, but under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is one of the few countries in the world to have a resounding GDP growth rate.
He said BNP again got involved in the old bus-burning game as we saw Thursday amid pandemic situation.
Mentioning that the BNP is trying to cover fish with vegetables, the minister said: “They (BNP) have burnt the bus themselves and again they have announced various programs against it, which is very ridiculous.”
“While the government of the country and people of all walks of life have stood by the victims, the BNP has started setting fire to the passenger buses instead of standing by them, which is very disgusting, reprehensible and they have not been able to get out of this maladaptation,” he added.
Chief information officer Surath Kumar Sarkar was also present on the occasion.
