Oman’s envoy for forming ‘Bangladesh-Oman Business Forum’

Newly appointed Omani Charge d’ Affaires (CDA) Abdul Ghaffar Bin Abdul Karim Al- Bulushi has said possibility of forming a ‘Bangladesh-Oman Business Forum’ could be explored to strengthen business cooperation between the two countries.

The envoy made the proposal while called on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam at foreign ministry here on Sunday, a foreign ministry press release said here today.

Earlier, the CDA presented his letter of credence to Foreign minister AK Abdul Momen.

During the meeting with the junior minister, CDA also emphasized that the boost in trade area needs a B2B interaction and exchange of visit among business community.

The CDA also paid a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary Masud bin Momen  at his office.

The envoy apprised the foreign secretary that Bangladesh may focus on sending skilled workforce like engineers, doctors, nurses, care-givers to keep up the manpower market in Oman.
