No exams for class VI, VII in new educational curriculum

The students of Class VI and Class VII will not be evaluated by any existing examinations or tests, said the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.

In a notice, published on Monday, the directorate said that the students of Class VI and Class VII would be evaluated as per guidelines prepared by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).

It said that for teaching the students of Class VI and Class VII the new curriculum, the Teacher’s Guide and directives on the curriculum—both prepared by the NCTB—must be followed.
