BERC cuts 12 kg LPG cylinder price by TK 104

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by TK 104 to TK 1,335 from TK  1,439 for a 12 kg cylinder at retail  level.

The new price will be effective from 6 pm today.

The price of government LPG will remain unchanged, said the BERC.

At the consumer level in the private sector, the new price of per kg LPG is TK 111.26 (including VAT). The price of different quantity of LPG cylinders will be fixed up accordingly.

Earlier, the price of LPG was TK 119.94 per kg.

Besides, the new price of LPG (auto gas) used in cars has been fixed at TK  62.21 per liter, which was TK  67.02 earlier.

LPG price was slashed based on the international market price and valuation of the taka (Bangladeshi currency) against the US dollar.
