Suu Kyi charged under official secrets act

According to the state secrets act, Myanmar junta court sentenced ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi to three years in prison, reports AP on Thursday.

The official stated, that Suu Kyi was given a three-year sentence after being tried and found guilty with Turnell under the secrets law.

Three other members of her cabinet were convicted guilty and each received a three-year sentence.
