He said, “According to the 2021 report of an index, Bangladesh ranks 128th out of 138 countries in terms of mobile internet speed, which is extremely disappointing. This information proves how absurd the government’s demand to build a digital Bangladesh is. The government has failed miserably because of rhetoric and corruption. ‘

Stating that the process of formation of search committee is completely meaningless and unacceptable, the BNP secretary-general said that the aim of the election commission which will be formed on the recommendation of the search committee will be to bring Awami League to power like the outgoing commission. It is not possible to overcome the crisis without elections under a neutral government through the transfer of power.

He said the prices of fuel oil and daily necessities were being increased for the corruption of the government and unethical profits of the traders backed by the ruling party. Immediately reduce the prices of all products at the consumer level, especially the increase in the price of liquefied petroleum gas. Otherwise, resistance will be formed with the people.
