Dr. Murad was not allowed to enter Canada

Dr. Murad Hassan could not enter Canada. The Canadian Border Services Agency did not allow him to enter the country. He was reportedly dropped off at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Murad Hassan was deported from Toronto Pearson International Airport.

According to reports published in several local Bengali online portals in Canada, multiple sources close to Murad, who lives in Canada, have confirmed the matter.

Meanwhile, no information has been received from Canadian government sources in this regard. Besides, the Canada Border Service did not comment on this matter.

It is known that Dr. Murad arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport at 1:30 pm on Friday (December 10) and was questioned by immigration officials. He was taken into custody by Canadian Immigration and Border Services Agency officials for questioning. He was interrogated for a long time. He was informed at the time that many Canadians had objected to his entry into the country. He was then sent back. He was later flown to a Middle East plane.

According to various sources related to the airport, during the interrogation, he was asked about the recent developments in Bangladesh.

Dr. Murad resigned as state minister on December 6. On the night of 7 December, he left Dhaka for Canada on a diplomatic passport.
