Those who get Awami League  nominations in reserved seats for women

The ruling Awami League (AL) has nominated its candidates for 48 seats out of the total 50 reserved for women in the 12th Jatiya Sangsad.

The AL Parliamentary Nomination Board at a meeting on Wednesday (Feb 14) afternoon decided to nominate 48 aspirants.

The meeting began at 12:00pm at Ganabhaban, the official residence of the prime minister, with AL chief and AL Parliamentary Nomination Board president Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Following the meeting, AL general secretary Obaidul Quader announced the list of candidates at Ganabhaban.

He said a total of 1,553 candidates bought nomination forms this year.
