March 7 Book in UN language

A book titled, “The Historic 7th March Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman: A World Documentary Heritage,” was revealed at the Unesco headquarters.

According to a media statement issued on Friday, special statements by Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Education Minister Dipu Moni are included inside the book.

In his opening speech, Bangladesh Ambassador to Paris and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to Unesco Kazi Imtiaz honoured the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He added that the famous March 7 speech by Bangabandhu provided motivation and inspired many people during the nine month long war. He also thanked the ambassadors and representatives of all the countries who were present at the event.

Ambassadors and representatives from Australia, England, France, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Spain, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Kuwait, Russia, China and Bangladesh who speak English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and Chinese revealed the book at the event on Saturday, according to the media statement.
