Dhaka-Singapore flight operations to resume from today
After almost one and a half years closure due to Covid-19 pandemic, Singapore Airlines will resume its flight operations on Dhaka-Singapore route five days in a week from today October 28 (Thursday).
The airlines confirmed the matter on Tuesday (October 26), says a media report.
Airbus A350-900 aircraft will be used for the flight operations. The lowest return fare has been fixed at Tk 38,458 on this route.
Sources at Singapore Airlines said the authorities will operate flights on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in a week.
The flights of Sunday, Monday and Friday will leave Dhaka at 10:40pm and reach Singapore at 4:50am (local time) next day. In addition, the flights of Tuesday and Thursday will leave Dhaka at 1:20pm (Bangladesh time) and arrive in Singapore at 5:25pm.
According to Biman, passengers traveling to Singapore must obtain a permit from the Singapore authorities to enter the country and take a full dose of the approved Covid vaccine. Pfizer, Modernna, AstraZeneca, Serum’s Covishield, Synofarm, Synovac vaccines can be taken to Singapore at least 14 days after taking 2 doses of any one and Johnson vaccines 1 dose.
Passengers over the age of two must have a corona test and have a negative certificate within a maximum of 48 hours before departure. Arrive in Singapore and stay in Hotel Quarantine for 10 days.
