Covid-19: Bangladesh reports 38 more deaths, lowest in 93 days
Country recorded 38 more Covid-19 deaths in the past 24 hours , raising the total deaths to 26,832, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Friday.
Besides, another 2,325 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the 24 hours between 8am on Thursday and 8am on Friday.

As many as 26,878 samples were tested across the country, with a positivity rate of 8.65%.
During the same period, 3,856 more patients recovered from the disease, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest additions took the country’s death toll to 26,832, the total caseload to 1,527,215 and the total number of recoveries to 1,472,067.
The seven-day moving average of single-day deaths in Bangladesh dropped further to 57.14 on Friday. On Thursday, it was 61.7.
Dhaka counted 17 deaths, the highest among the eight divisions, followed by Chittagong with 10 fatalities.
Five deaths were reported in Khulna, two each in Rajshahi and Mymensingh, and one each in Sylhet and Rangpur.
Thirty-seven of them died at different hospitals across the country, while one died at home.
