BNP is now holding a series of meetings after being isolated: Information Minister

Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud said BNP politics is always against the people. For their activities of throwing petrol bombs, arson, strikes and blockades,  the BNP has moved away from the people. Has become depopulated. And for that they are now holding a series of meetings.

Awami League joint general secretary Hasan Mahmud made the remarks after visiting Khulna Betar Kendra on Friday morning. This information was given in a press release of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

In response to a question from a journalist about the BNP’s series of meetings, Hasan Mahmud said, “The BNP is now holding a series of meetings as it is isolated from the people.” If the BNP moves away from the politics of enmity with the people for so long and engages in pro-people politics, it will be beneficial for the party.

The information minister said, “But I saw in the newspapers that they (BNP) have talked about the fall of the government there, they have talked about boycotting the elections.” In fact, they have been saying these for the last 12 and a half years. In fact, the BNP itself has fallen behind in pushing the Awami League. ‘

The minister said the BNP always likes the back door. Ziaur Rahman came to power through the back door. Khaleda Zio also likes the back door. That is why they have tried for 12 and a half years to create chaos in the country and try to do something through the back door. This politics will not bring good for them.

Responding to a question from reporters, Hasan Mahmud said the court had not ordered the suspension of Khaleda Zia’s sentence. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has suspended the sentence out of generosity. If the government wants, it can cancel the order suspending Khaleda Zia’s sentence tomorrow. Therefore, the BNP should show gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the government for this.

Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleq, District Council Chairman Sheikh Harunur Rashid, Deputy Commissioner. Moniruzzaman Talukder and other officials of different levels and local leaders and workers of Awami League were present. Later, the Information Minister provided special financial assistance to the journalists during his tenure at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
