Foreign Minister’s new book ‘Sheikh Hasina: Surprised Wonder’

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen’s new book ‘Sheikh Hasina: Amazing Wonder’ published On the occasion of the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina .

The Foreign Minister handed over the book to the visiting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for attending the UN General Assembly.

Sajib Wazed Joy, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Information and Communication Technology, was present at the handover of the book at the New York Palace Hotel in Lotte, New York.

The book, edited byDr. Momen, contains 75 writings by politicians, ministers, members of parliament, high-ranking government officials, university professors, eminent journalists and writers, as well as geniuses and intellectuals of various professions.

It highlights various aspects of Sheikh Hasina’s personal life, political involvement and multi-faceted leadership. In this book published by Chandrabati Academy, the Prime Minister has been portrayed as a brilliant, dedicated, visionary and creative leader.

Dr. Momen served as Bangladesh’s Permanent Representative and Ambassador to the United Nations for six years before taking over as Foreign Minister. He has traveled around the world for professional needs and has had the opportunity to come in contact with diverse people.

In this book, the Foreign Minister has drawn a comparative picture of the simple life of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in the light of his personal experience.

Regarding the book, the Foreign Minister said the book has been published with the aim of spreading the vision of Sheikh Hasina’s struggling life and development among the people. Sheikh Hasina is a believer in deeds, not words. She never hesitated to achieve the goal. Due to her tireless efforts, Bangladesh today stands with its head high in the chest of the world. The development and prosperity of this country is a wonder to the world today.

Dr. Momen said, “In 2021, we are celebrating ‘Bangabandhu’s birth centenary’ and ‘Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence’ together.” In the same year, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 75th birthday. There are three things of pride and arrogance for Bengalis and Bangladesh.

Dr. Momen was engaged in teaching for a long time in his professional life. He reads and writes books whenever he has time in his professional life.

He has published more than 250 research articles in various national and international research papers.
