There is a huge disagreement among those with whom the BNP is united: Information Minister

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud commented that the BNP’s daily rhetoric has made the ears tingle.. He said, “The BNP is as bad as an empty pitcher.”

He made the remarks at a special extended meeting of the Rangunia Upazila Awami League in Chittagong on Sunday (September 26) evening.

The Information Minister said, ‘Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir Saheb plays, after a few days break, Rizvi Saheb plays, Gayeshwar Babu plays on beat-unbeat for nothing. This has created a sense of humor among the people. ‘He said,’ For the last few days, the BNP has been saying that the government should be overthrown by using all its power. Even before 2018, they were united with the right, left and far left. The power of that unity has vanished into thin air. It has been seen that there is a huge disagreement among those with whom the BNP is united. ‘

Dr. Hassan Mahmood said, “The unity they are talking about now, this unity as they did before, maybe they can do it even if they unite on a piece of paper. That previous energy has vanished into thin air. It has been observed that there is great disunity among those who took part in this unity. That is why some process called ‘unity process’ has started between them again.

Awami League leader Zahir Ahmad Chowdhury, Upazila Chairman Swajan Kumar Talukder, Abul Kashem Chishti, Mayor Shahjahan Sikder addressed the meeting under the chairmanship of Upazila Awami League Senior Vice President Abdul Monaf Sikder and General Secretary Engineer Shamsul Alam Talukder.
