The Prime Minister’s press conference is today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address a press conference today to brief the about her recently-concluded visit to New York and her participation in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. Due to the Corona situation, the Prime Minister will attend the virtual conference from Ganobhaban.

A press conference will be held at 4 pm. Journalists will be connected to the Virtual Ganobhaban from the Prime Minister’s Office. The Prime Minister will give details of her visit at the press conference. The Prime Minister’s Press Wing said in a statement.

Sheikh Hasina is in New York, USA from September 19 to 24 on an official visit to attend the 76th session of the UN General Assembly and to participate in various high-level events. He returned to the country on October 1 after a stay in Washington DC from September 25 to 30.

While in New York, the Prime Minister addressed the General Debate of the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly. He followed in the footsteps of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and delivered a speech in Bengal. The Prime Minister attended a number of high-level and closed-door meetings there and held several bilateral meetings with heads of various governments, states and organizations.

The Prime Minister inaugurated a sapling planting and a bench at the UN Garden on the North Lawn of the UN Headquarters in his honor on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 20 September.
