Covid-19: Bangladesh’s daily deaths drop to four, infection rate stands at 2.18 percent
Bangladesh reported four more deaths between Sunday and Monday, taking the country’s Covid-19 death toll to 29,089.
With 436 new cases, the caseload has jumped to 19,47,702. The daily detection rate stands at 2.18 percent.
Meanwhile, during this 24-hour period, 3,546 people recovered from the disease. So far, 18,46,884 people have recovered after contracting the disease in Bangladesh.
According to the DGHS, 20,076 samples were collected, while 20,009 were tested in the last 24 hours. The overall infection rate remains 14.38 percent.
Among the four deceased were three men and one women. Dhaka division accounted for three deaths, while Sylhet reported one.
