Commuters allowed to stand on train during journey
The sale of standing tickets on the train was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the sale of standing tickets has started again from Tuesday (March 8). As a result, people are going to travel standing on the train.
An office order on Monday (March 7) said it had been instructed to take further necessary action on the issue of issuing seatless train tickets. This decision will be effective from March 8.
Meanwhile, the DGHS said that Covid-19 infections have decreased by 51.2 percent in the last one week (from February 28 to March 6) in the country. At the same time, the death rate has decreased by 23.5 percent.
