Saudi Arabia instructs citizens to look out for Ramadan moon on April 1

The supreme court of Saudia Arabia has instructed the citizens of the country to look out for the moon of Ramadan on April 1, Shabaan 29.

It instructed the citizens to go to the nearest court if they witnessed the moon to record their testimony.

If the moon is sighted on April 1 in Saudia Arabia, the first fast will be observed on April 2.

If, however, the moon is not sighted in the kingdom, the first of Ramadan will fall on April 3.

In Pakistan, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene on April 2 in Peshawar to sight the moon.
