News Now Bangla enters its fourth year today
The online news portal ‘News Now Bangla.com’ steps into fourth year today. With the slogan of ‘We are news’’ the portal started its journey on July 25, 2019. Within a short period of time, the recognition of News Now Bangla has reached from the country to the world.
With the promise of objective news, News Now Bangla.com was officially launched on the day of 2019 at the National Press Club. Prominent industrialist and former president of FBCCI Abdul Matlub Ahmad inaugurated the portal. Former Information Secretary Hedayet Ullah Al Mamun, Vice President of BFUJ Syed Ishtiaq Reza and many others were present.
In the beginning, the editor of the portal, senior journalist Shamima Dola started with a few workers. In the last three years, the portal has become popular among readers by serving news at national and international levels. Later, Shamima Dola started adding more talented reporters.
On February 4th , with the jointly organized by Netal Ayat and News Now Bangla, six were honored with meritorious awards for their role in freedom struggle, journalism and For contribution in social,cultural field.
Information Minister Hasan Mahmud was the chief guest and handed over the awards to everyone.
News Bangla editor Shamima Dola participated in the 74th session of the General Assembly in 2019. After that, she got the ITech Scholarship from the Government of India on behalf of News Now Bangla.
After completing the scholarship, Shamima Dola took several initiatives to further the work of the portal. But the outbreak of Covid situation became an obstacle.
However, even in that pandemic situation the organization safely published objective news with it’s commited and talented employees.
News Now Bangla received a big recognition in 2021. In that year the portal received Facebook and ‘Splice Lights on’ awards. After various stages of verification from 163 online portals of 25 countries of the world, the portal News New Bangla (https://newsnowbangla.com/) finally selected.
News Now Bangla has won honor in the world court by successfully publishing 5 news stories for ‘Splice Lights on’ Award. Apart from this, the portal is also moving ahead with other news campaigns. And considering all these, the portal launched the English version from the year 2020.
The portal received government approval for registration on July 15 of this year. News Now Bangla was finally registered on July 21.

In this time of corona epidemic, We could not do many things, what we wanted to. Not only me, my journalists are also working in different categories.
