Dollar price goes up by 25 paisa again

Bangladesh Bank (BB) once again devalued taka against US dollar, raising the exchange value of the dollar by 25 paisa.

Now, the value of one dollar stands at Tk 94.70.

The central bank sold 132 million dollars to the banks at the newly set price – which Bangladesh Bank calls interbank exchange rate.

The exchange rate of US dollar in Dhaka’s money exchanges and kerb markets has risen to Tk 105 on Monday from Tk 103.50-104 on Sunday.

Bangladesh Bank spokesperson Sirajul Islam confirmed the matter.
