Nitol Motors has reduced Tata vehicle spare part prices, service charges

First time they offers home service to Tata vehicles

Nitol Motors Limited, official distributor of Tata Motors in Bangladesh, has launched “Project Sunlight” offering home delivery of service on-demand  which will reduce the prices of Tata commercial vehicle spare parts by up to 20%, and service charges by up to 35%.

The initiative aims of the company to support the growth in livelihood of people involved in service delivery.

“We believe the project will help our customers through this unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic and offer relief with the new reduced prices of spare parts and services,” said Abdul Matlub Ahmad, chairman of Nitol Motors.

“Nitol Motors stands by its customers throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle and will continue to offer industry-best offers and initiatives to boost Bangladesh’s logistics sector,” he said at the campaign launching event at a city hotel on Monday.

The price of the commercial vehicles’ genuine spare parts and service charges at the Nitol workshops were never reduced before.

On behalf of Tata Motors, International Business vice-president Anurag Mehrotra gave vote of thanks through a recorded message.

Nitol Motors chairman announced the free service delivery at home for first six months for any Tata branded commercial vehicle.

He said the Group has been following the philosophy  of the Tata companies that believe “people are major contributor to the development of any company.”

There are 61 automobile service centres across Bangladesh, which are affiliated with Nitol Motors.

“From now, every service centres will provide one-stop service including dedicated counter for spare parts to reduce hassles of the service recipients,” Matlub Ahmed said.

Nitol Motors emphasises its customers by offering never-before reduced prices on its spare parts and after-sales services. With the launch of project Sunlight, customers of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles will have complete peace of mind regarding the vehicle maintenance, higher resale value and increased profits.

Nitol Motors chairman also informed that the service centres will provide foods as token to the drivers who came to receive the service.

Matlub Ahmad, also president of Bangladesh Automobiles Assemblers and Manufacturers Association (BAAMA), said expressed concerns over “conflicting policy for multi-axle vehicles on highways.”

“We know that the multi-axle vehicles reduce pressure on roads. It is considered as best traffic for any highways. However, the authorities charge higher to the vehicle multiplying the number of axle of the commercial vehicles. It’s a matter of regret for us,” he said.

Nitol Motors Pvt Ltd, the flagship company of the Nitol-Niloy Group, has been a partner of Tata Motors Limited since 1988.

Currently, it is the most dominant player in the country’s commercial vehicle market with over 62% market share, according to the company.

It also offers the largest sales, service and spare parts network in the country.
