Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said BNP continues its movement to bring the Hawa Bhaban of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman back.

“BNP men are saying that they will bring Tarique Rahman back to Dhaka through a revolution,” he told the triennial conference of Tangail Zila AL at Tangail Stadium.

To get the lost power of the BNP, a movement is going on under the leadership of Tarique, he said, adding that it fact, BNP continues its movement to bring the Hawa Bhaban back.

He said the BNP is provoking the country’s people to oust the government although it failed to wage a movement for 13 minutes in 13 years.

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is now out of jail due to the generosity of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The BNP could not even hold a procession for Begum Zia’s release in the last 13 years, but now it is threatening to oust the government, he said.

He said the BNP leaders are daydreaming of bringing out a victory procession with Khaleda Zia on December 10 next.

Addressing BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the AL general secretary said, “You are saying you all will free Khaleda Zia. She is free. Even, you could not arrange a procession involving her. Do not do politics over Khaleda Zia and do not understand much”.

There will be a game against BNP, which stole votes, created fake voters, and was involved in fraud, looting, corruption and oppressing women, Quader said.

The government will not interfere in any way, he said.

The people did not able to stay at home during the BNP era but now people can live in peace, he said.
